It begins with a school.

Founded by Vijaya Babu A, Subba Rao A, Busavapurnaya V & Rambabu K, Nalanda Vidya Niketan opens — today a 3-campus CBSE school.

Then, a college.

Nalanda Degree College begins — 25 years of graduates, placements and first jobs.

A generation grew up here.

At our peak, classrooms across 55 campuses in 38 towns and cities — and the alumni of those years carry Nalanda everywhere.

Grown beyond us.

Our junior colleges had grown so large they became part of the Narayana group, one of Asia's largest education networks. We kept the campuses closest to our founding purpose — and went deep instead of wide.
